Preview - This is Lauren's County Show. In this show all the birds are judged by class only and then to Show Champion. There's not usually a ton of birds here so they do it a little different than the APA shows. She's really wanted to win this and hasn't done it yet. Although she's been very close. There are a couple of people who have some really nice birds of other breeds who have done well. We've seen them do well with those birds at other shows this year. So we'll see what happens. In this show you have to have your birds validated and banded about 2 months before the show. We choose pretty well and our two black cockerels are scheduled to go. As well as a few others who aren't great right now as far as condition. Her hope lies in the black cockerels. Not sure which shows we'll go to after this one. There are about 3 more we can go to here in the spring.
