Double show was won by Aaron Hickson's black cock bird. In the first show we had Reserve of Breed with a black pullet that also won Reserve AOSB. In the second show we had Reserve of Breed with a blue wheaten pullet, but AOSB went to a game bird. A good show for the black pullet, she was my best black. The cockerel I had entered was noted for his poor comb and he must have broken a sickle feather on the way down there, so he's likely done for the season. But the pullet has done well and will keep showing. Also a good result for the blue wheaten pullet. She was Best of Breed at the District show in Fayetteville a few weeks ago and it's nice to see some love for the blue wheatens. Fun show with good folks.
